Less than 18 months later these apartments are selling for as much as £53k which is still amazingly cheap for a 2 bed apartment and clearly less than £1000 psqm.
Having paid a deposit of 40% of £13200 of a sale prices of £33k (ignoring fees) my return on the deposit is £20k or 151% not bad and this is clearly only going one way.
Should achieve £65k in the short term (12 months) as the market for existing property gathers speed. Mainly off plan property market which basically includes many speculators.
From a rental point of view I will be aiming for net income £5k per annum which may not be achievable in the first year but will be from 2008 onwards giving a yield of 15%
August 2007 Update OK the development has slipped past the expected completion date but the site is 95% finished now and the surrounding are beginning to taking shape added some pictures
October 2007 Visited the site and my appartment is complete and looks good only minor snagging issues, the development is not completly finished but should have the keys in 2007 perhaps. These area has moved on tremendously with much of the infastructure either completed or in progress. Will add some photo's this week
December 2007 completed the purchase at Mirador go back in June to sort utilities and funish the appartment for the season.
May 2008 Booked a week in June to furnish and set up the unit to enable letting initially via www.vista-rent.com for the peak season and off peak I will be marketing myself too on www.mirador-golf.com

and the weather was great pool now full and ready to be enjoyed hope to get back after the peak season and hoping for some rental during August
